Jazz Arts Project Holiday Spirits Show
This year the Fall semester student showcase will be a very special and unique event.
It all takes place on December 17, 2023 at 3:00PM at Red Bank's Two River Theater.
14-time Grammy Award Winner, Paquito D’Rivera headlines Jazz Arts Project’s annual “Holiday Spirits” Concert Event & Fundraiser. D’Rivera has over 30 solo albums and was named a “Jazz Master” by the NEA, America's highest honor in jazz.
Jazz Arts Academy students will also be featured in what has become a tradition we call “Legends & Lions” in jazz. In the true tradition of passing down the joy of jazz to future generations, Jazz Arts Academy students aka “The Lions” will perform on stage alongside a true Jazz Legend, Paquito D’Rivera. The students will be alternating tunes and trading solos showcasing the music skills they have honed during the Fall semester of the Jazz Arts Academy, the premier jazz education program in the region.
Join us at Red Bank’s Two River Theater and witness musical rites of passage for our students as the Legend passes the baton to the next generation of jazz musicians.
