The Jazz Arts Academy is excited to announce the 2025 Spring Showcase Concert, scheduled for June 8th at 4 PM at Triumph Restaurant & Brewery.

The Jazz Arts Academy is excited to announce the 2025 Spring Showcase Concert, scheduled for June 8th at 4 PM at Triumph Restaurant & Brewery. This event holds special significance for the organization.  In addition to showcasing 16 talented young musicians in a professional club/concert setting, the organization will honor their four graduating seniors while simultaneously offering a heartfelt shout-out to all the dedicated fathers in light of the upcoming Father’s Day holiday.

"We are thrilled to celebrate these students as they move on to the next chapter of their music journeys," said Joe Muccioli, Founder and Artistic Director of Jazz Arts Project. "Additionally, we want to take a moment to recognize and honor the incredible fathers who support them in their musical endeavors."

Over just the past few months, this talented group has diligently prepared for this performance, studying essential music performance practices, music theory, improvisation, and the rich history of jazz. This showcase concert provides an invaluable opportunity for these aspiring artists to exhibit their skills in front of family, friends, and the community.

The program will also present the Jazz Arts Academy Allstar Scholarship to this year's recipient. This award, to offset the cost of books, musical instruments and equipment, is given to a student who has shown exceptional talent in jazz and intends to pursue a music major or minor in college.

Jazz Arts Education Director Kyriaki Rausch said “Our graduating seniors have shown exceptional dedication, creativity, and passion. It’s been an honor to be part of their journey and we can’t wait to see how they continue to shape the world of music in the years ahead.”

The Jazz Arts Academy is a year-round, comprehensive jazz studies program presented by the nonprofit organization Jazz Arts Project. World-class performances, music training programs for area youth and other events serve the community while honoring this quintessential American music, Jazz.

The Academy pairs professional jazz artists as instructors and mentors with students in a centralized jazz scene. Here, they supplement their school music programs, connect with new players from across the region, and cultivate valuable skills and experiences in a supportive and professional environment. The organization is committed to making jazz education accessible to all. Need-based tuition assistance is available to ensure every student passionate about jazz has the chance to participate in this dynamic program.

The Academy has also recently announced the exciting, week-long intensive summer session taking place July 28th – August 1st in their new facilities in downtown Red Bank. This immersive program offers aspiring musicians the opportunity to sharpen their skills, collaborate with peers, and learn from top jazz educators in a dynamic and supportive environment.
